What a weekend it was for INTENSE sponsored riders at round 5 of the Enduro World Series (EWS) from Sugarloaf, USA. We didn’t just have one winner… we had three!

INTENSE Factory Racing’s Seth Sherlock continued his winning ways with another solid and professional performance in the under 21 category. He won three out of the six stages and came second in two of the others.

Winning by over 28 seconds his time of 27mins 28.880sec would have placed him in eleventh in the Elite field, just one position behind the legendary (and ex INTENSE team rider) Sam Hill.

"P1 at Sugarloaf, what a day! Had soo much fun in the race yestaerday, mad props to the trail crew and everyone involved. Every single stage was so gnarly and awesome. One of the most fun days I've had on the bike in a while and couldn't be more stoked on the result! Thanks to everyone for making Sugarloaf such a great time." Seth Sherlock

With this win Seth moves back into first place in the overall series, and with two rounds to go he is in a very strong position in the title chase.

Then in the Master Women’s category Canadian (yep, another one) Ingrid Larouche took four out of the six stage wins and the overall victory. Another great result after her second place finish at the EWS in Whistler two weeks previously.

And more good news for INTENSE Ambassador, Czechoslovakian rider Milan Čižinský. Just like last weekend in Vermont, Milan took the win in the EWS 100 45+ category.

“Second victory in Masters 45 in two weeks! The tracks and nature reminded me of my native country and I felt perfect here. The physically demanding tracks, with lots of roots and mud, suited me to the max. My favorites were stages 5 and 6, which had a lot of technical elements. The Czech fans on the track pushed me to victory… and I enjoyed the champagne. Thanks to all the sponsors for supporting my US trip.” Milan Čižinský

Next up, the World Championships in Les Gets France, with the Downhill taking place this Saturday (Aug 27th).
